1. Our AI Commitment

NewsDarpan uses artificial intelligence (Azure OpenAI GPT-4o, Google Gemini, and OpenRouter) to assist with news summarization, translation, rewriting, and categorization. AI is a tool in our editorial workflow — not a replacement for human judgment. Every AI-generated output is subject to human editorial review before publication, unless explicitly labeled as “Auto-Published” for trusted government sources like PIB.

2. Content Labels

We label all content transparently:

  • AI Processed: AI tools were used for summarization or translation
  • Editor Verified: A human editor reviewed and approved the content
  • Auto-Published: Trusted source content published automatically (e.g., PIB releases)

3. Limitations

AI can make mistakes. If you spot an error, please report it to corrections@newsdarpan.in.
